Other people’s blogs: Election Edition
November 2nd, 2007. Filed under: Election '07, Other People's Blogs, Upstate NY.
Saluting some New York bloggers who are standing for election next Tuesday…
Alan Bedenko, otherwise known as Buffalopundit, is running for the Erie County Legislature… David Makar, who blogs at Dryden is Home, is running for re-election for Dryden Town Board… and Andrew C. White, who occasionally posts at The 10,000 Things, is running for Stephentown Town Supervisor. Stephentown is way over by the Massachusetts border, out Joe Bruno way; and Andrew is a Deanie from way back (those were the days!), so I give him a shout-out for his campaign getting the backing of the national Democracy for America organization.
As for the Onondaga County Executive and Legislature races (and, admittedly, if you are of a Democratic bent), Change CNY is a must-read. (Hopefully this blog doesn’t disappear after the election…)
Future politicians might want to check out the latest entries on Upstate 2050, so they can plan their pandering accordingly…
Lastly, Jesse of York Staters has posted a couple of new items, including this reflection on citizenship.
